Notes from the Realm- February 2026

Uncategorized

While the snow is melting from the last of the winter storm to freeze the realm, we have been preparing for the next phase of Men of Iron!

The Men of Iron advancement workbooks are now available to purchase through the Men of Iron Marketplace. The Page and Squire workbooks are complete and ready to ship. These will walk a man through the steps of becoming a servant like Jesus and a standard bearer like the Apostle Paul. The Knights workbook is in development and is getting closer each day to completion. The expected completion is by mid to late Spring 2026.

The Tournament Manual is the essential guide to the martial combat skills of the Men of Iron Tournament. Event rules and regulations are detailed for each event: Archery, Crossbow, Frankish Axe throwing, Knife throwing, the Javelin, and the Combat Sword. This full color manual is essential for those who desire to earn their Tournament Card. Available on the Men of Iron Marketplace

Update your membership status! Membership renewals start October 1 of each year and are active until September 30. You have several membership options to choose from- Standard Membership and Member Errant status. The standard membership is for those who have a household that they are a part of and meet each month. The Member Errant is a member who does not have a household and is actively trying to develop a household. Both have the option of the basic membership and the premium membership levels. More on membership can be found on the Membership page of the Men of Iron website.

Later this year Men of Iron will be launching what we are referring to as Pilgrimage Events. These events are designed to introduce pastors, youth leaders, mens ministry directors, mid week discipleship directors and anyone who might be interested in learning more about Men of Iron. The format for this Pilgrimage Event will be half meet and greet and half presentation on what Men of Iron is and how it will work in the local church. The meet and greet portion will be to offer a “hands on” style display of the gear that we use in Men of Iron, see a basic setup for a weekly meeting and a feast, and to get the feel for things like armor, EVA foam swords tools and more. The presentation side will be a more formal setting that walks those present through the nuts and bolts of who we are and what we do. If you would be interested in hosting a Pilgrimage event, let us know!

Dates, times and cities will be announced as the details are confirmed.

Have you seen the plans and patterns that are available? There are a number of detailed instructional documents that are ready for you to download and build. Wooden projects and costume items are all there and ready for you. Visit the Plans and Patterns page on the Men of Iron website

As the Autumn begins, it brings new updates!

Men of Iron was fortunate to be a part of one of the only two Christian Comic Cons in the US. The Alpha Omega Con held in Long Beach California is the oldest Christian Con in the country. With all sorts of collaborators, podcasters, creators and various other vendors, we were right in the thick of where we needed to be. So many great conversations were held that day with those who are looking for exactly what we are presenting. It seemed like it was over just as soon as it began and with an invite to return in 2026! We will be returning next September, so if you are in the Southern California region, come by and visit with us!

The Men of Iron Marketplace is now open! Many of the goods that have been developed over the last few years are now available for sale through our website. This is the source for all of the workbooks promotional items, sportswear and other gear that is essential to Men of Iron everywhere. The way to visit is to navigate to the Men of Iron website, www.Men-of-Iron.org and then look for the Marketplace link on the tab. What is featured is the first of much more to come. Check back often to see what is new and produced just for you!

Several items of note can be found in the Marketplace- Page and Squire Workbooks and the Tournament Manual. These printed workbooks are now available to everyone as a physical book. These will always be paper and will not be offered as a digital download. Find these items here: Support Material
