The Falcon has held a place in history as the bird of kings for their use in medieval falconry. These birds were highly trained and used in hunting small game.
In medieval heraldry, the falcon was a symbol of knightly chivalry, hope, fortitude and strength. All qualities

that every knight should strive for.
From this, Men of Iron has developed the Order of the Falcon for those knights who have distinguished themselves in becoming not only skilled warriors but knights who are keenly aware of the safety required to properly run the tournaments of Men of Iron. The purpose of this order is to inspire knights and those who would become one to excellence in martial skills, tournament and safety.
The order is identified by the gold falcons wing on a blue field. No collar or adornment is awarded, rather a blue cloak bearing the image of the wing in yellow on the left outermost panel of the cloak. This cloak will be awarded by the Royal Council
