This three piece set made from Acacia wood includes an 11 ounce bowl, a 7" spoon and a 10" raised rim plate.
Properly maintained, this set will provide you many years of use.
This set is made from Acacia wood. To maintain acacia wood dishes, hand wash with mild soap and warm water, ensuring they are dried thoroughly and then air-dried. Avoid soaking or placing them in a dishwasher to prevent warping and cracking. Occasionally, condition the wood by applying a thin layer of food-grade mineral oil to restore moisture, enhance the grain's appearance, and protect against drying out.
Cleaning- Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water and a small amount of mild dish soap. Avoid prolonged soaking or leaving water in the dish, as this can lead to swelling, cracking, or warping.
Do Not Use Dishwasher! The heat and prolonged exposure to water in a dishwasher can damage the wood.
Immediately after washing, pat the dish dry with a clean cloth. Allow the dish to air dry completely before storing it.
Conditioning the Wood-
Apply oil periodically. Apply a thin, even coat of food-grade mineral oil or beeswax to the wood. Let the oil soak in for a few hours or as recommended, then buff off any excess with a dry cloth.
Apply oil more often for frequently used items and less often for seldom-used items, according to the appearance of the wood.
Keep your acacia wood dishes in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures or humidity, which can cause the wood to warp.
